M. Kaitlin Hocker
M. Kaitlin Hocker is a family law litigation attorney serving clients in Fulton, Cherokee, Cobb, and several other metro Atlanta counties. She specializes in divorce, child custody, child support legitimation, adoption, and Temporary Protective Orders.
Kaitlin received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2023. She attained a Bachelors of Art in English and in Spanish from the University of Georgia in 2020. She participated in the Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic as a zealous advocate for survivors of domestic violence as well as the Community Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Clinic at the University of Georgia School of Law as a student advocate for various immigration cases ranging from naturalization to U-Visas. She earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Immigration Law in 2022.
During her law school career, Kaitlin also served on the editorial board and as an executive editor for the University of Georgia School of Law’s Journal of Intellectual Property and published her Note, Dropping the Mic on Indie Artists; How Trademark Law Fails to Protect Independent Artists Against Music Industry Giants (30. J. Intell. Prop. L. May 2023).
Kaitlin currently lives in Marietta with her cat, Jasper. In her free time, she enjoys racing in long-distance running competitions, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
